Join dozens of tuba and euphonium players of all ages and abilities performing traditional Christmas carols with an enthusiastic audience sing-along!

TUBACHRISTMAS was started in 1974 by tuba great Harvey Phillips as a tribute to his mentor, the legendary tuba player & teacher William J. Bell. The 1st TUBACHRISTMAS took place in New York City's Rockefeller Plaza Ice Rink, with music arranged by Rochester-born composer Alec Wilder.

2024 marks the 51st anniversary for TUBACHRISTMAS concerts, which are now presented in 290 cities worldwide!

If you do not have PayPal or Vemno, you may register and purchase music on the day of the event (cash only).
Capacity is unlimited.
Simplified parts can be made available by request.
In the event of a surge in COVID-19 cases in our area, the Walden Galleria could reinstate a masking policy.

Participants must provide a music stand. Sharing music stands is not recommended.
Sousaphone players may choose to bring a stool, or stand in the back of the ensemble.

Concert at 3:00pm

Buffalo TubaChristmas is open to the public - admission is free!

Music

We will play out of the CAROLS for a MERRY TUBACHRISTMAS book, arranged by Alec Wilder.
Program order will be determined during rehearsal.
Books can be purchased on the day of the event for $25.00.

Concert Dress

Concert dress is casual. Most people wear festive holiday colors! And don't forget to decorate your instrument - lights, ribbons, tinsel, reindeer antlers, etc... get creative!
